The Proving Pig is used to prove that the internal dimensions of a pipe do not fall below a minimum diameter, or that the pipe has a circular profile. The Proving Pig is simply pulled through the pipe or duct.

The Proving Pig is supplied with a towing eye at both ends so that a rope may be pulled in at the same time to allow the pig to be retracted if necessary, or to act as a cable draw cord.

Each Proving Pig is designed and manufactured to meet the customers exact specifications, and the discs can be supplied in a range of different materials including Mild Steel, Aluminium and Stainless Steel (to resist corrosion due to chemical attack).
